Jeep tires can be purely functional, or make some sort of personal statement about your style. One of the easiest things to modify on your Jeep are the tires, and that's often the first place people start. The sheer variety of Jeep tires can be a little daunting, and the more time you spend researching the issue, the more overwhelmed you might become. You have to weigh the cost of the tires against their off-road abilities and factor in the way they look if that's a big concern of yours. You also have to consider the different types of off-roading you can do. Somebody who takes their Jeep in very rugged terrain might need more heavy duty tires with deeper treads and more traction. If you do not take your Jeep in rugged or snowy terrain, you might consider a different type of tread.
